I've had the pleasure of knowing Hannah for many years, as we both spent time showing draft horses and competing against one another. I remember being so excited to have the opportunity to capture images to help fill the walls in her and Hunter's farm house. However, I wasn't prepared for how over the moon I would feel when a few weeks after Hannah booked, I got a message from Hunter asking if I'd be willing to also photograph him getting on one knee and asking Hannah the one question all ladies dream about, " will you marry me?" I don't think I could type "yes of course" fast enough! We began to plan about a week out and I got a message saying "I think she's onto us and knows what is going happen." Then Mother Nature rained us out.
Hunter decided to ask for her hand one evening in her grandma's field with Hannah's sister behind the camera.
How special!
With that said our makeup session was no longer a couples session but now an engagement session. At their farm nestled in a hillside we captured so many beautiful images: at their ceremony spot, dancing at the old barn, and wrapping up the evening with horses in the background. From start to finish you could see the love in their eyes and how much they truly mean to one another. I wish you both nothing but the very best as you move into the next stage as husband and wife -
Cheers to the soon to be Mr. and Mrs. Nice!
