Part II of Tara's senior summary took place at her family's farm in Thomasville, PA. Her family raises Hereford cattle, pigs, along with a whole pack of corgis. As we explored the farm, I met a few of Tara's older show heifers as they came moseying over to see what the fuss in their field was all about. Tara said she had a calf that she wanted to have a few images with. As we crested the top of the hill, we saw an adorable Hereford calf standing wide eyed and excited to see Tara. Lucky is a bottle calf that Tara has been caring for. Tara explained she got the name Lucky because she is truly lucky to still be here, she beat the odds to live as her mama didn't accept her. The love she has and expresses for her cattle speaks volumes.
From the field we moved back to the barn and the house where some sassy, spunky and wild corgis were waiting their turn to be in front of the camera. The pups gave us a good laugh, synchronizing their head motions when the treat bag was tossed up and down to keep their attention. Tara's senior summary has been so much fun to capture, I leave looking forward to the next time I get to spend with this farm girl!
