Real talk: I have wanted to work with a farrier for a long, long time! Every horse person relies on a good farrier, and I've wanted to show the work that goes into this unique profession. Plus, capturing hot shoeing has been on my wish list!


Finally, the stars aligned, and I happened to have a few rented lenses in my possession when my wonderful farrier, Eli, came out. He was such a good sport and let me play around with different shots and angles.


Eli is an incredibly talented farrier. He makes his own shoes and competes all over the state and country in farrier competitions! How cool is that? Thanks for letting me take your photos, Eli.
